David L. Emerton, President & Co-Founder

Mr. Emerton is President and a Co-founder of ACCESS Capital Group. He has over 30 years of insurance sales, sales training and management, and brokerage experience.

He began his insurance career in 1978 with Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society. Since 1985, he has owned and operated D.L. Emerton & Associates, an insurance sales and brokerage agency. From 1999-2006, he also served as Director of Training, Regional Sales Director, and National Sales Director for Medico Insurance Group.

As a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Mr. Emerton oversees our Sales and Marketing operations.

Bryan R. Neary FSA, MAAA, Vice-President & Co-Founder

Mr. Neary is Vice-President and Co-founder of ACCESS Capital Group. He has over 14 years of experience pricing and developing individual health and life products, primarily focused on senior health and supplemental worksite markets. He started his actuarial career with Mutual of Omaha in the individual health division. Since leaving Mutual of Omaha in 2001 he has held management roles with a number of different insurance companies. His most recent position was Vice President and Chief Actuary of Medico Insurance Group where he oversaw all actuarial functions of the company including strategic planning and budgeting, valuation, risk management, and product development.

Mr. Neary is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Shawn Everidge, Director of Technology

Mr. Everidge handles the technical and reporting functions of ACCESS Capital Group.  He has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, having starting at Central States Health & Life Co. of Omaha in 1999 before moving on to New Era Life Insurance Co., where he held the position of Research Mathematician.

Mr. Everidge holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics as well as a Master of Science in Mathematics from Creighton University.

Brynn Korolchuk, Director of Market Research

Ms. Korolchuk is responsible for the Competitive Intelligence division of ACCESS Capital Group.  Before joining the company, she was an Underwriter for FirstComp Insurance in Henderson, NV. She started her career in insurance underwriting monoline workman's compensation risk in the Western U.S., as well as managing vocational claims with adjusters and attorneys.

Ms. Korolchuk holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Creighton University and a MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Matt Nohl, Financial Analyst

Mr. Nohl specializes in finances. He's responsible for analyzing commission streams, as part of ACCESS Capital Group's actuarial process, to arrive at fair, win/win purchase offers.

Mr. Nohl excelled as a financial advisor intern at Mutual of Omaha while earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, and Investment Banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). And when he wasn't crunching financial information, as a student, he was captain of UNO's men's tennis team.

Kevin Simpson, Actuary Associate

Mr. Simpson is reliable, humble, and wicked smart. His title is Actuary Associate but, in general, his job is to help make the ACCESS Capital Group commission block valuation process first in class. Originally from San Diego, Kevin worked for 2.5 years as an Assistant Actuary for Mutual of Omaha's Medicare Supplement product line.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of California – San Diego.
